What does CNERGREEN do?

CNERGREEN is a Calgary-based energy startup focused on advancing the energy transition within the oil industry. We develop patent-pending nanoparticle-based foam products, known as ArmorFoam™, designed to be injected underground into reservoirs. ArmorFoam enhances the efficiency of hydrocarbon extraction while unlocking pore space for CO2 storage, contributing to both economic and environmental goals.

How does CNERGREEN work with or engage with the CRIN network to enable tech development and/or grow the cleantech ecosystem in the oil and gas industry?

The CRIN network has played a pivotal role in CNERGREEN's success, offering valuable platforms to showcase our technology through presentations and panel discussions at early stages. CRIN has also provided financial support through grants, which have been instrumental in pilot testing and commercializing ArmorFoam™. Through CRIN, we’ve expanded the visibility of our technology and, in return, we aim to contribute to the cleantech ecosystem by sharing lessons learned and success stories.

How can CRIN's members support CNERGREEN?

CRIN members can support CNERGREEN by connecting with us and exploring opportunities to introduce ArmorFoam™ to their organizations. We are seeking field deployment opportunities to further enhance hydrocarbon extraction in various applications, including CO2 enhanced oil recovery, waterflooding, steam injection, and hydraulic fracturing.
