Westgen provides remote well site power generation and instrument air solutions to energy producers seeking to dramatically reduce or eliminate methane emissions and other GHG from pneumatic devices.
The EPOD from Westgen, combines solar and conventional power generation technologies to deliver a cost-effective and highly efficient solution to GHG emissions due to pneumatic device venting. EPOD has been validated by several Canadian producers, including Shell Canada, through extensive field testing over two harsh winters and has proven itself capable of reducing initial capital costs and ongoing operating expenses.
Engaging with CRIN members
Westgen is active in the dialogue taking place in the CRIN “Methane Monitoring, Quantification, and Abatement” Linkedin group and is a member of the Methane Emissions Reduction Network (MERN). The CRIN network has been instrumental in helping us meet the right people for funding and other support. We looking forward to participating in future CRIN technology competitions!
“CRIN has been a great resource in connecting us to various stakeholders in the diverse cleantech ecosystem in the region. Cheri Corbett, who is Director of Cleantech Practice at BDC and sits on the CRIN Steering Committee, went above and beyond in helping us to meet some key people who have been instrumental in our growth,” says Connor O’Shea, President of Westgen.
Connect with Westgen
We look for connections and collaborations that help us achieve our mission of creating solutions for energy producers to economically reduce environmental impact. We work with producers to deploy solutions to their sites, engineering firms to support assessment of projects, and other technology providers to solve problems together.
